The Xiaomi MIX Fold 3, set to launch next month in China as a successor to the MIX Fold 2, has recently received 3C certification. The certification listing reveals that the MIX Fold 3 will feature a 67W fast charger (model number: MDY-12-EF), indicating that there won’t be any improvement in the fast-charging capabilities compared to its predecessor, which also supported 67W fast charging.
While the fast charging remains the same, reports suggest that the MIX Fold 3 will have a larger battery than its predecessor. The new model is expected to have a battery that is 300mAh larger than the MIX Fold 2’s 4,500mAh battery. Additionally, the MIX Fold 3 is rumored to support 50W wireless charging.
In terms of display, the Xiaomi MIX Fold 3 is expected to feature a 6.56-inch AMOLED FHD+ 120Hz display on the outside and an 8.02-inch foldable AMOLED QHD+ 120Hz screen on the inside. It will likely run on MIUI 14-based Android 13 and be powered by a 3.36GHz Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, 16 GB of LPDDR5x RAM, and 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage.
The MIX Fold 3 is also anticipated to include an in-screen camera on its inner display. On the rear, it will sport a camera setup comprising a Sony IMX800 primary camera, a periscope zoom camera with 10x optical zoom, a telephoto camera with 3.2x optical zoom, and an ultra-wide lens. The device is expected to feature a waterdrop hinge for enhanced durability. It may come with an IP rating for water and dust resistance.
